Terms and conditions
Standard terms of service and commercial agreement parameters governing THORE Website Design engagements and client partnerships.

1. Scope of Services
THORE provides professional web design, frontend development, conversion optimization, responsive engineering, and digital marketing integrations. Each engagement is governed by an agreed statement of work (SOW) detailing target deliverables, platform specifications, and launch milestones.
2. Project Timelines & Client Dependencies
Project timelines commence upon receipt of the initial deposit and required client onboarding assets (branding materials, copywriting inputs, domain credentials). Delays in asset delivery or feedback approval beyond five business days may adjust scheduled launch dates accordingly.
3. Fees & Payment Schedule
Unless specified otherwise in a custom SOW, design engagements follow a milestone-based fee structure: an upfront deposit prior to design kick-off, milestone progress billings where applicable, and the final balance due upon pre-launch client review and approval. All payments are non-refundable once design milestones have been formally approved.
4. Revisions & Change Requests
Each design phase includes two rounds of structured revisions. Modifications requested outside the original statement of work or after final design lock will be quoted separately as change orders at our prevailing agency hourly rate.
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Upon receipt of full and final payment, all custom visual designs, custom source code, and tailored layouts developed for the client transfer entirely to the client. THORE retains ownership of proprietary agency starter frameworks, reusable developer components, and internal design toolkits.
6. Third-Party Services & Licences
Clients remain responsible for ongoing third-party subscriptions required to maintain their website, including domain registration, web hosting (e.g. Vercel, Cloudflare), font licensing, and external API subscriptions (e.g. CRM, form providers).
7. Warranties & Liability
THORE warrants that all delivered web software will function substantially in accordance with the agreed specifications on modern, standards-compliant web browsers upon launch. We provide a 30-day post-launch bug warranty covering any defect introduced during our build process.
8. Governing Law
These terms and any dispute arising from client agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
